Vogue's Smoky Eyes

I saw looking through Vogue's website when I came across a piece on smoky eyes, and I must admit, I loved it. I loved how simple yet effective it was. It was a picture of a model styled by Emilio Pucci . I decided to do a stardoll version, something different from the original stardoll smokey eyes. You know the one, a ton of black up to the forehead and a tiny bit of white. So I wanted to do a more subtle one. And this is how it went

1) Change your medoll to the one in picture 1. Or a style similar to the photo of the model.

2) Line the outer corners of the eyes with a black pencil eyeliner, put a tiny bit of white pencil in the innter corners and a tiny bit of gold eyeshadow near the inner corner of the eyes. Line a small but messy looking flick with black liquid eyeliner. Make sure it looks a bit smudged. Add volume and length mascara, both in black.

3) Fill in the outer parts of the eyelid with black, white in the inner corner and dust some gold in the ridge near the nose.

4) Dust browny golden blush around the cheekbones and add a tiny mole on the cheek. Change the hair to the color and style shown, pop on a few small fake lashes if you wish, and TA DA. You're done.

Enjoy.

Sara.
