Kim Kardashian Makeover

Right, so I got a bit bored, and well, I feel although I should at least try to make this blog active so I thought I'd do another tutorial. This one of Kim Kardashian,  it doesn't need a huge effort, its a pretty simple look but I'm quite fond of it.

1) Make your doll look like the one in the first box, the cheeks should be slightly highlighted and the lips quite pale.

2) Trace black kohl around the edges but leave a gap in the corners nearest the bridge of the nose, do the same with black liquid eyeliner, but add a small flick to create a catlike shape.
Add a tiny bit of black eyeshadow near the flick but only a small amount.

3) Add Black volume and length mascara, then dab dark brown eyeshadow over the lid and slightly up the crease, then add a lighter or more beige tinted brown on the middle of the lid and towards the nose.
Then pencil over the already black eyebrows with black browliner, its not necessary but it helps the eyebrows look slightly darker and defined.

4) Sketch a faint pink link across the cheekbones and then cover over with a peach blush, add a golden lipstick to the lips and add clear lipgloss to the lower lip.

4) Add false eyelashes and some plain diamond earrings and a simple updo, ta-da you're done

Bella Swan Breaking Dawn Makeover

To celebrate the release of Breaking Dawn Part 1 ( okay it was yonks ago but I wasn't on this blog at that time) I decided to make a Bella Swan Vampire Themed doll, if you're not a major fan then this may not be for you ( as much I adore Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, I can't say I'm much of a twihard either, but the latest film is pretty good). Anyways here is a vampire bella swan doll, well its supposed to be. Whether or not it is actually similar to her is up to you.

1) Make your medolls face very similair to the doll in box 1. I really do like these eyes and Kristen Stewart does have slightly heavy lids, of course nowhere near as much as our doll but lets say she's being all dramatic for the cameras.

2) Line the bottom and outer corner with black kohl eyeliner, and if you have any the top with red kohl. Add a tiny bit of red liquid eyeliner to the lid ( available in the starplaza) and a tiny bit of white on the inner corners.
Only add lengthening mascara, as I find voluminous mascara covers the red eyeliner and normally bella doesn't have very thick lashes.

Now the thing I love about these eyes is that they even have a cheeky little grey patch that is perfect for tracing over, trace over it with black eyeshadow. You can smudge over the lines a bit but don't use up your limit! Now get your red eyeshadow, well its more of a coral, which you can still buy in starplaza, and just dab it in the middle of the lid but make sure its not too bright, there should still be a lot of black surrounding it.

3) Apply red lipstick and brown blusher, to ease the blusher add a lighter dusty tone, I choose the starcoin blusher, its a perfect shade and comes very handy when you want to ease the tone of a bright blusher.
Luckily for us stardoll designed a Bella Swan hairstyle for the release of Eclipse, and it is very useful for this particular style. Keep the hair a dark brown, its tempting to muck about with different dyes and highlights but for this we're going to stick to good old stardoll hair colors.
I was going to add red contacts, but they really didn't look right, so for now its going to be an animal blood sucking Bella Swan. I'm not going to add gangs, but if you must, go ahead.
I didn't want to add false eyelashes, you can but I really didn't want to block out the cheeky red in the eyeshadow.

Well I hope you find this useful, feel free to show me how your trys on this look went,
Ta Ta now

We're SHEEP?

Woaahhh. That's so cool.
Never heard that one before.
OC is full of 'immature sheep'. According to AquillaVampire apparently.
May your wool never be dirty... xoxo.

Vogue's Smoky Eyes

I saw looking through Vogue's website when I came across a piece on smoky eyes, and I must admit, I loved it. I loved how simple yet effective it was. It was a picture of a model styled by Emilio Pucci . I decided to do a stardoll version, something different from the original stardoll smokey eyes. You know the one, a ton of black up to the forehead and a tiny bit of white. So I wanted to do a more subtle one. And this is how it went

1) Change your medoll to the one in picture 1. Or a style similar to the photo of the model.

2) Line the outer corners of the eyes with a black pencil eyeliner, put a tiny bit of white pencil in the innter corners and a tiny bit of gold eyeshadow near the inner corner of the eyes. Line a small but messy looking flick with black liquid eyeliner. Make sure it looks a bit smudged. Add volume and length mascara, both in black.

3) Fill in the outer parts of the eyelid with black, white in the inner corner and dust some gold in the ridge near the nose.

4) Dust browny golden blush around the cheekbones and add a tiny mole on the cheek. Change the hair to the color and style shown, pop on a few small fake lashes if you wish, and TA DA. You're done.

Enjoy.

Hunger Games Nail Varnish

I don't know about you, but I know a LOT of people are extremely excited about the release of 'The Hunger Games' ( 23rd of march), and it turns out that Lionsgate have joined together with China Glaze to create a collection of nail varnishes. Even though I've never read the books, I must admit the film does look amazing, as do these varnishes. I am particularly in love with the smoke and ashes, and the stone cold. They're all very interesting and something to brighten up your fingertips.
If you're a fan of the series and a sucker for pretty nails then I'm sure you will fall head over heels for these.

MEDOLLS FOR NOOBS.

Hi, in OC medolls are an important thing. A VERY important thing. Sadly, your medoll determines whether or not people in OC take you seriously. You will probably be on the bottom of pretty/original lists, have your medoll called ugly, or be called an OC favorite; Noob.

Noobs normally have those winky faced dolls, the anus looking lips, or a very happy looking medoll. Ex.

I'm not saying you cannot have your medoll looking like something like that above, I am saying that you will nine times out of ten WILL NOT be respected and treated like other people are treated in OriginalClub. So I will teach you how to have a basic looking medoll in OC and hopefully you will catch on.

I will be using Cookiebubble's doll for this. Thank you to Cookiebubble for allowing me to do so. :)

Step 1:
Start out with an average looking medoll. You don't want any features to look over-the-top because remember, you're just a beginner. You can pick whichever lips you want except for smiling ones. They look over-done. Try a relaxed or calm mouth to start off with. Go to the eyes tab and on page 5 you will find these exact eyes. These eyes are probably the most average eyes that everyone uses in OC. Go to eyebrows. You can choose thin, arched eyebrows that look simple and decent. Turn them brown and then make them lighter. You can have any eye color you'd like.
Step 2:
Step 2:
Start with the makeup before the accessories. Start out with the volume mascara and evenly apply it on both of your medolls eyes.
Note: Make sure that it is BLACK volume mascara.
Step 3:
Use the length mascara. Do the same thing you would do for the volume mascara.
Step 4:
Put  the white eyeliner on the inside corner of your medoll's eyes. I suggest you put the white on first before the black because of stardoll's limit. Don't go over board with the liner.
Step 5:
Now, put the black eyeliner on the other corners until it meets up with the white. You might reach the limit of makeup on this part so you have to be quick and cover the eye with the liner. You might not get the whole eye, but that's OK.
Step 6:
Take the white eye shadow and apply it on the corner of the eyes where the white eyeliner is. Try to keep it as low as possible, again, you're a beginner. You don't have to try to be all creative and stuff right now.
Step 7:
Now, take the black eye shadow and apply it on the corner of the eyes where the black eyeliner is. Again, try to keep it as low and as even as possible.
Step 8:
Since you're a noob. A lovely, beautiful, little nooblette. :3 We can do a naked lip for today. Take a lipstick that matches the colour of your medolls skin almost perfectly. And apply it to the WHOLE lip.
Step 9:
Take the LUXE lipstick and outline the lips. CAREFUL. You don't want to gloss up the whole lip. It will look over-done. Just outline all of the edges. This could take some practice though.
Step 10:and
Apply a light brown, a light pink, or anything else that is very LIGHT to the CORNER of your cheeks. You noobs ... ;) tend to just spread it all around. WELL. THAT'S NOT THE WAY YOU DO IT. SO YEAH.
Step 11:
You can change the hair color to anything you like. I decided to change it to a nicely coloured brown. :3 Add false eyelashes to the doll as done in the picture below.
Step 12:
Add a regular...NOT over the TOP headband accessory. Whichever headband you'd like. :3 And then....BAM. You're finished.

SO. I HOPED I HELPED. GO. Go on! Ask OC if they like your doll. I ASSURE you 1000000% they will say they like it. I BET YOU. And for the record. Don't type ANY OTHER WAY THAN PROPER. Like, actually SPELL STUFF CORRECTLY, OK?
Love you guys. Muah. ♥
